The Historic Bath website is provided by the North Carolina Historic Sites and contains information about the history and founding of this small town in Beaufort County. Visit this website to find out where Bath is located, the weather, and special events and attractions. In addition to visitor information, read about the archaeological excavation at Bonner’s Point, Bath co-founder John Lawson, Cary’s Rebellion, the Tuscarora War, Blackbeard, and Bath legends. Look at historic images, maps, and video describing the history of Bath. The site also has documented a project done by 2nd graders at Bath Elementary school.
