Historic Bost Grist Mill
This working grist mill will transport students back to the 1800s and shows how people lived and worked in that time. Originally powered by water, the mill is operated by tractor with a belt and pulley today.

Built in the early 1800s, this restored historic mill still operates in the grinding of corn into grits and cornmeal. The mill offers guided tours that highlight the way corn was planted, raised, shelled and ground, and daily life in the 1800s. Educational booklets are also available to students.
