The museum features several thousand rare and unusual artifacts highlighting early rural America. Among the items is an extensive collection of wood-working tools, farm implements and household utensils. The grounds have several outbuildings: a one-room log schoolhouse, a furnished one-room log cabin, and a restored log tobacco barn.

Open 10am - 4pm Tuesday - Saturday, and 2pm - 4pm Sunday. The museum is closed Mondays and holidays. Admission is free. Call 910-296-2149 for more information.
