This wildlife refuge is located on NC 12 on Hatteras Island. Open daily year round, the refuge has a visitors center, an interpretive trail, photo blind and more. Enjoy this barrier island habitat with its pristine beaches, dunes, salt marsh, and man-made impoundments.
