This site has information about visiting the North Carolina Aquariums, the programs and events available, and available resources (print, audiovisual, and Internet)for teachers to use in their classrooms. School groups need to register at least two weeks in advance of a field trip. With prior notice, a special marine life video, live animal program, field trip experience or other activity may be arranged. Prearranged trips have free admittance. Visits are scheduled between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

If your school group can’t get to the Aquarium, the Aquarium can come to you through its Outreach Program, complete with live animals and a variety of topics and activities. Outreach Programs require a modest fee.
