“Dedicated to improving the health and science literacy of children and adults, The Health Adventure Museum is a nonprofit, health and related sciences education center located in Asheville, North Carolina which was founded in 1968 by the Buncombe County Medical Society Auxiliary. It was one of the first health education centers of its kind in the country. Featuring a hands-on, interactive approach and utilizing exciting, dynamic exhibitry to teach school and community groups from all over the region, it has gained national and international recognition.”
