The Center showcases the finest in traditional and contemporary crafts of the Southern Appalachians. It houses the Guild’s century-old Allanstand Craft Shop, changing exhibitions in three galleries, a craft library and 270-seat auditorium. Selections from the Guild’s Permanent Collection, a 3,500 piece collection of craft objects dating back to the turn of the 20th century, can also be seen during special exhibitions.

Admission is free and the center is open daily except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. January - March 9am-5pm, April - December 9am- 6pm
