The aim of the Wayne County Museum is to collect, preserve, study and exhibit objects illustrating the history of man and nature in Central Eastern North Carolina. Current exhibits on display include the War Between the States Exhibit featuring an exclusive Diorama of the Battle of Goldsborough Bridge, USO exhibit, relive the 1940’s, Downtown Goldsboro 1920-1930’s, and the current exhibit, History of the Railroad.
