This wonderful outdoor classroom provides an ideal setting for students to learn about the importance of creating and sustaining animal habitats as well as native trees and plants. Located in Raleigh, North Carolina students visiting Prairie Ridge Ecostation will participate in programs that will spark their interest in the natural world.

Prairie Ridge Ecostation offers programs for kindergarten and first grade classes and and fourth and fifth grade classes. Class size should range from 15 to 30 students. Several different programs are offered. Bring a bag lunch to enjoy after the program. Fee: $45 (15–30 students); $90 (31–60 students). Please register at least four weeks in advance.
