Alice Aycock Poe Center for Health Education
"Specializes in developing programs for youth to address health concerns like childhood obesity, physical inactivity, unhealthy food choices, tooth decay, drug and alcohol abuse, unintentional injuries, and teen pregnancy."
In 1991, The Poe Center opened its doors to provide information to the community to help children and teens lead healthier lifestyles. It has served over 600,000 people from 60 counties in North Carolina.

The Poe Center website provides a list of programs from which educators can choose. It also has grade appropriate information for kids and teens. There is a parent section as well.
