Glenwood Farms

Students will have fun while learning about North Carolina agriculture. This farm has seasonal crops, livestock, a petting zoo, and an aquaculture display.

This 100 acre farm is fun for children of all ages. Visitors to Glenwood Farms will learn about seasonal crops including strawberries, corn, pumpkins, pecans, cotton, and soybeans. The grazing area has a full grown bull and cows, a horse, donkeys, and goats. There is also a fish house which teaches students how aquaculture has become a big business. They will see koi, bass, catfish, and brim. The petting zoo is always a favorite with younger children. They can feed sheep, goats, and pigs. Another attraction is the corn maze which is available in the fall.

Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy eating in the picnic shelter or out in the pecan orchard where the trees are over 100 years old.
