The history and culture of Burke County is preserved at this museum in Morganton, NC. Located at 201 West Meeting Street, visitors to the museum will find artifacts, documents, and objects representing Burke County’s heritage. The museum website has images of daily life in Valdese, Morganton, and the countryside of Burke County. The museum is home to the Morganton Rail Road Depot, open Wednesday through Friday from 2-4 pm.
