Professional development offerings

Through the creation and delivery of innovative approaches, DESTINY seeks to empower teachers, schools and communities to transform science learning environments. DESTINY develops science curriculum modules (sequences of lessons plans) that address different topics on the N.C. Standard Course of Study, and then trains teachers to incorporate these modules into their classrooms at professional development workshops. We hope that teachers will gain innovative ideas and resources which are easily put into action and meet their students’ needs.
