The registration process may vary from course to course. Some courses will only be open to participants from the LEA in which the course is offered; others will be closed to you because they have already begun.

Professional development courses

At the bottom of the page for each online course offering is a heading "Take this course!" If the course is open for enrollment, you will see a link to "Enroll in this course." (If you do not see this heading and link, you are probably looking at the course catalog entry. If the course is scheduled to be taught, you will see a listing of sections or dates at the bottom of the page.)

Clicking "Enroll in this course." will take you to a form you can fill out to request enrollment. An email will be sent to LEARN NC staff with your information, and you will receive a response as soon as possible.

Student courses

LEARN NC’s courses for K–12 students are now a part of the North Carolina Virtual Public School. North Carolina students can get information about registration and prerequisites from their web site. For students outside of North Carolina, several courses are available through USDLC.

Schools may still create copies of our K–12 courses for local use. Please e-mail our Blackboard Registrar for registration information.
