LEARN NC uses the Moodle Learning Management System. In order to host a course with LEARN NC and use the LEARN NC Help Desk, some prerequisite skills with Moodle and teaching online are required. LEARN NC offers Moodle Training for course instructors and developers. This training is conducted entirely online and demonstrates how to use Moodle to teach one of our courses or to develop one from scratch.

Licensing
As a provision of our license, any courses intended to be shared with LEARN NC via Moodle must be instructor-led (as opposed to tutorials) and made available for use statewide. The course creator does not have to provide an instructor for the course but should design it so that other systems may download the course and provide an instructor. Only teachers who have completed Moodle training will have access to our courses and permission to teach them in their own school systems.
