The North Carolina Professional Development Directory provides information about organizations offering professional development to teachers, administrators, and staff of North Carolina public schools. It does not include information about specific courses and workshops; for this and other detailed information, please contact individual providers.

This directory is a joint effort of NC DPI, the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation, and LEARN NC. It is hosted and maintained by LEARN NC.

Selection criteria

Organizations are deemed to be legitimate providers of professional development and therefore eligible for inclusion in this directory if

  • they have working contact information (at a minimum phone number and mailing address)
  • they have already provided professional development to pre-K–12 teachers on at least three separate occasions
  • they are able to provide materials (in print or on the Web) pertaining to their offerings if requested, and
  • they provide at least two client references, if requested.

Disclaimer

Information in this directory is accurate to the best of our ability to determine. Providers are invited to update their records twice yearly, and we are dependent on the accuracy of their reported information. Additionally, not every provider of professional development currently appears in this directory. If you believe one of our records to be in error or know of a provider not included, please contact us.
