The ACE Education program is a carefully developed and integrated program designed to meet goals for science and social studies set forth by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (Standard Course of Study). The Center’s activities make use of experiential learning which has been proven to be the most effective method of education. Teachers and students may customize their field trip according to their classroom needs. The program takes place on 624 diverse acres of wooded hills, streams, pond, swamp, flora, fauna and the Cape Fear River.
