The Transylvania Heritage Museum“houses temporary and permanent displays of heirlooms, artifacts, genealogical exhibits, vintage photographs, and other exhibits reflective of the history and heritage of the county.” On permanent exhibit is “Cascadia: Land of the Waterfalls.” Other exhibits, such as “Living off the Land” and “Decoration Day,” change periodically and include artifacts, realia, timelines and more.

Transylvania Heritage Museum is located in Brevard, North Carolina at 189 West Main Street. Admission is free. The museum is open Wednesday - Saturday, 10 AM - 5 PM. To find out more or to schedule a visit, call (828) 884-2347 or send email to heritage@citcom.net.
