The Nasher Museum of Art opened in October 2005 and has hosted a number of exhibits including the very successful “El Greco to Velázquez: Art during the Reign of Philip III.” “Its permanent collection displays feature selections from their holdings of classical antiquities, European medieval art, European and American paintings, African art and ancient American (Pre-Columbian) art.”

Their free, guided school tours take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10 AM and 11 AM and Fridays at 10 AM. Regular school tours for grades K-12 at the Nasher Museum of Art will resume in January 2009.
