K-12 educators in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina can now bring the ocean to their students through a new program called Ocean and You. Oceanographer, Cynthia Cudaback, PhD, and science educators, Genevieve Healy, PhD, and Jennifer Todd, MA have created this in-school program to educate students about oceans, marine animals, biodiversity, the water cycle, and much more. They will also design a program to fit your needs. “The ideal program would extend over 5-6 weeks, with one contact hour per week. We will also gladly teach a single class - if you like what we do, ask for more.” Your students will be able to become ocean stewards and ocean literate!
