Experience fun activities while learning at this working farm in Union County. Open in the fall between September 18th - November 22nd, Aw Shucks Farm provides curriculum-related field trips for students of all ages. In addition, they have hayrides, a pumpkin patch, nature trails, a corn maze, and much more! In the spring, the farm focuses on baby animals and plants with lessons on the history and use of cotton in North Carolina.
