As of July 2009, LEARN NC no longer maintains an active Blackboard server. If you are a current 2+2 student or instructor, your course(s) can be found on the UNC Blackboard site.

Moving forward with Moodle

LEARN NC still allows all public schools in North Carolina to offer online courses with Moodle.

Moodle, LEARN NC’s new learning management system, enables schools across the state to teach online courses in their school easily and affordably.
We train your teachers. We host your course on our server. We enroll your students. We provide live technical support. All you have to do is teach.

To teach a course in Moodle, teachers must first complete LEARN NC’s online Moodle Training. Moodle Training costs $150 per teacher. After that, there are no other costs, ever. Please read the Moodle Training course description for more information or to register.

What about my old course?

Former Blackboard instructors may request an archive of their old course(s) by emailing the LEARN NC Registrar. An archive will be provided for your download, free of charge, to use on any other Blackboard site. Please be sure to include as much information about your course as possible (course name, course ID, dates taught, etc.)
