Kim Campbell
Kim Campbell joined LEARN NC during the summer in 2004 as a graduate assistant and a year later stepped into the role of associate editor. It is in this capacity that she manages and develops the lesson plan collection, provides editorial guidance for Web publications, and tends to a widening variety of website management responsibilities.
Kim holds a master’s of science degree in library science from the School of Information and Library Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she focused on cultural institutions and the school library – and the educational possibilities created when the two are regarded as equal members of the same community.
In addition to her work in the education and library science fields, Kim has also worked as a linguist, analytical writer, and editor.
In her free time, you can find Kim in the garden digging around in her own collection of morning glories and trying to turn her hydrangeas blue.
