I teach at Charles D. Owen Middle School in Buncombe County. Owen Middle is located ten miles east of Asheville, N.C. I have taught for 26 years in the Buncombe County School System, all at Owen Middle. My subject areas are English and Social Studies in grades seven and eight. I am the athletic director of my school.
