Sharon Sullivan Mújica

Sharon Sullivan Mújica received one of the first grants given by the UNC Center for Public Service to create The Changing Face of Mexico. She has been the Outreach Director of the Institute of Latin American Studies at UNC-Chapel Hill and the Duke-UNC Program in Latin American Studies since the early 1990s. Her many outreach activities include the planning, organization, and implementation of seminars and conferences for North Carolina educators and college faculty in the Southeast and Middle Atlantic states. She also researches and writes materials to enhance these outreach programs. She is the Chair of the Outreach Council of the UNC Title VI Centers, and a member of the executive committee of the National Consortium of Latin American Studies Programs (CLASP).
