Vinetta Bell
Vinetta Bell, Ed.D., NBCT in AYA/ELA 2001, is presently an Educational Consultant in English Language Arts in the Division of Curriculum, Instruction and Technology at the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI). Prior to that position, she taught primarily AP/Honors English 11: American Literature at a large magnet high school in North Carolina. She also taught IB English.
Her additional work with The College Board includes being an AP Reader and AP Consultant for the AP English Language and Composition Exam, a Pre-AP Consultant for Special Topics in English (composition), and a participant in the AP Consultants’ mentoring program. She has also read the AP English Literature and Composition Exam and peer reviewed a classroom instruction manual for a commercial publisher. Her other professional and personal interests include the teaching of religion and the Bible in the public schools.
