Greg Mitchell
Greg Mitchell is a science instructor and 2005 Kenan Fellow at Durham School of the Arts, a public magnet school for grades 6-12, where he has been teaching biology and earth/environmental science to heterogeneously grouped classes since 2003. Mr. Mitchell received his B.S. in biology from Duke University in 2000 and his Master of Arts in Teaching from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2003.

- Wife inheritance and the AIDS epidemic in Africa
- When an African man dies, it is the responsibility of his brother to inherit his widow. This has become a key factor in the spread of the AIDS virus. This plan looks at this tradition and the AIDS epidemic in African countries and students will discuss possible solutions in a Paideia seminar.
