About the Artist:
I am employed by Buncombe County Schools in the Asheville area.
Not only do I have a teaching background but I am active artist that works in many different art mediums. I would have to say pottery (clay work) is one of my favorite art mediums, although, I also like to work with pastels and mix media as well. I earned my M.A. in Education (K-12) at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio and my undergraduate at Radford University, Radford, Virginia.
