Lesley joined LEARN NC in April 1998, having previously worked with the organization through UNC-Chapel Hill’s Institute for Academic Technology. As Media and Web Librarian, she locates and reviews websites for the Best of the Web, publishes field trip opportunities for each of North Carolina’s 100 counties in Discover NC, writes feature articles, and provides customer service. She is currently attending Western Carolina University’s NC TEACH online program to become a licensed teacher. Lesley has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology and Urban Studies from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida.

In her spare time, Lesley enjoys gardening, knitting, and making stained glass pieces.
