This is my 13th year with Buncombe County Schools. I teach at Estes Elementary School, 275 Overlook Road, Asheville, NC, 28803. I am a teacher of preschool children with disabilities, and hold B–K and K–12 special education licensure, a Masters of Education, and a National Board Certification.

- This lesson serves as an introductory study of the plant world. The lesson allows students to study seeds, parts of plants, microclimates, and how to grow seeds into vegetable plants for harvest. Parents are encouraged to assist at home.
