LEARN NC

K–12 teaching and learning · from the UNC School of Education

I teach Algebra II and AP Calculus at East Henderson High School in Henderson County. I am a participant in a county grant program called Weaver which encourages the use of technology in the classroom. I also am a trainer with the North Carolina Teacher Academy in the “Making the Connections: Integrating the Curriculum” module. I continue to look for meaningful and different approaches to teaching mathematics, but I never want to sacrifice academics for fun.
