Teresa Chichester

I teach first grade at Everetts Elementary School in Halifax County, North Carolina. Go Tigers!!! This is my first year as a contracted teacher, but I taught in Henrico County, Virginia as a Board/Long Term Substitute for one and a half years. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Ancient History and a Masters of Teaching for Early Childhood Education, both from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. I have two young children, Alex age 7 and Mary Alice, 15 months.
Update: I am so pleased my lesson plan was approved! Since May 1999 I have changed schools. I now teach sixth graders at Halifax Academy in Roanoke Rapids, NC. I use the What Makes a Dog a Dog format with these older students as well with success. Enjoy.
