Group Roles
Everyone must be an active participant in this process, and is responsible for project completion. Any member may assist in any aspects of the project, even if it is not mentioned in their "job" completion. All group members are Possible Group Roles:
- Product Representative
: As a representative of the group, this student's job is to help people talk over the big ideas and share reactions. This student may record brainstorming sessions. This is the only group member who may take the group's questions to the teacher.
- Text Research and Development
: This student is in charge of maintaining and organizing the text information so that it can be easily retrieved and placed in the PowerPoint presentation.
- Image Research and Development
: This student is in charge of maintaining and organizing images so that they can be easily retrieved and placed in the PowerPoint presentation.
- Technical Support
: A Power Point "expert", this student will be in charge of the PowerPoint presentation. This student needs to be able to assist in saving images from the Internet and/or inserting scanned images into PowerPoint. Support means helping; this student should be a resource to help other group members become comfortable working with technology.
