All Kinds of Minds was founded in 1995 as a non-profit institute for the research and understanding of learning variations. Their approach includes collaboration with teachers, parents, and caregivers to identify the student’s learning profile, which pinpoints both the student’s strengths and weaknesses in learning. With a more accurate learning profile, educators can create an individualized plan to help a student succeed.

The All Kinds of Minds’ website offers a blog, research studies, a Learning Landscape feature that discusses the science of their programs in-depth, activities, articles, and other resources to help educators.

Professional development offerings

One of All Kinds of Minds’ signature programs, The Schools Attuned program, is for K-12 educators who want to help students experience greater success in school. It is a comprehensive professional development program that offers educators new methods for recognizing, understanding and managing differences in learning. Any NC public or charter school can send an individual educator or a group to the course.
