The Carolina Center for Educational Excellence or the CCEE is an outpost of UNC's School of Education. It provides workshops, seminars, Internet-supported demonstrations, graduate classes and other opportunities for study to improve learning environments for students in pre-school through 12th grade, university students and the professionals who support them. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the CCEE facility includes flexible classroom space, ample room for seminars and conferences, a NASA-supported science and mathematics teaching laboratory and a school counseling and psychology training clinic. Among its most popular professional development seminars for teachers in North Carolina are workshops on Foreign Language Learning and Technology Tools for Global Education.
