- A learning strategy in which students work in pairs, side-by-side or face-to-face with knees touching. In this way, they can provide effective feedback to each other. Also known as eye-to-eye or elbow-to-elbow and knee-to-knee (E.E.K.K.) strategy.
- KWL chart
- Strategy in which students manage their learning by mapping out what they Know, Want to know, and Learned. KWL charts help students access prior knowledge and help teachers assess where students are in their learning.
