- A Geometric 'Field Trip'
- Students conduct a 'field trip' around the school (inside and out) looking for examples of geometric shapes. They record their findings using a digital camera and present their findings in a multimedia presentation.

- Students will respond in various ways (oral, written, artistic, dramatic) to a fictional story published in weekly installations in the newspaper.

- Students use the web to explore the lives of some celebrated Americans. Working in small groups, they complete a WebQuest, identifying facts and locating different types of information in order to determine the criteria used for selecting these “Amazing Americans.” (Learn more)
