North Carolina Regions
Working in cooperative groups, the students will learn about their assigned regions of North Carolina. A list of questions will be generated. When the research is completed, the students will design a way to orally present the information to the class. This also will integrate Visual Arts and Informational Skills.

"Off To The Races" Familiarize Students With The Media Center
Students become familiar with the various sections of the media center and learn the value of teamwork through a kinesthetic scavenger-hunt approach.

Students use the web to explore the lives of some celebrated Americans. Working in small groups, they complete a WebQuest, identifying facts and locating different types of information in order to determine the criteria used for selecting these “Amazing Americans.” (Learn more)
