This is an integrated unit that focuses on masks in cultures as reflections of individual spirits. This lesson focuses on students' observations of masks while visiting a museum.

Jewelry: Then and Now
This lesson integrates fifth grade social studies with the visual art curriculum through a study of jewelry, both of the present and the past. Students will assemble a necklace from the beads and pendant that they create. (See attachment Mvc-011s and Mvc-007s)
