Goal 2. Speaking

The learner will comprehend spoken English in a variety of personal, social, and academic contexts.

Level: Intermediate Low

In addition, they may use forms of non-verbal communication to demonstrate comprehension. Learning objectives focus on making simple statements, retelling stories and texts, identifying main idea and other elements of a story, identifying all parts of a book, recognizing basic punctuation, paraphrasing, using adjectives, correcting own writing, and following one-step and two-step directions.
