Teach your online course with a pilot group of students or teachers. An experienced online-learning mentor will guide you through typical problem areas. The Practicum in Online Teaching may be done in conjunction with your school or county, and even as part of your normal teaching load.

Measuring the waters
This lesson plan uses an excerpt from an oral history about measuring flood waters during Hurricane Floyd to teach students about the many ways measurements can be taken. Students are given an opportunity to practice measuring with a variety of tools and evaluate their effectiveness.
