This website contains a look at and preventative measures for a variety of health and safety topics. From the main page of health and safety topics, there is a list of areas from which to pick; the link for the selected topic provides: an in-depth look at the topic as well as ways to combat the issue or to manage its effects.
The CDC's website is divided up into three major sections:
The Kids Quest area, located under Disabilities, provides ten step guides for children to understand that children with disabilities can be athletes and that visually impaired children can read books, too. Kids Quest was designed specifically for 4th, 5th, and 6th grades.
The Data and Health Statistics contains a link to Births, Deaths and Marriages, which leads to the National Center for Health Statistics page.
