Artcyclopedia is an online database of over 125,000 works of art. Search the database by artist, title of artwork, or by museum. Another option is to browse the collection by name, movement, medium, subject, or nationality. A list all women artists is also provided.
Additionally, Artcyclopedia offers short summaries of the different art movements, glossaries of fine art terms, Christian saints, and Greek and Roman mythology as well as a "today in art history" feature.
