The U.S. Census Bureau presents American Factfinder, which provides access to data that spans a variety of characteristics of current life in American such as economics, education, race, disability, business, and housing. Students can find detailed and extensive information and numeric graphs about where they live from the city or town to the county, the state, and even the country. The can investigate other areas of the country and see how they compare. This website also includes online mapmaking tools that will incorporate census data as well as a variety of higher level reports and demographic information.
