This grade-specific entry to LEARN NC's Media Center — a student-friendly version of our "Best of the Web" collection — provides a place for students in grade 4 to do essential research, learn about the research process, understand how to find web sites, and access instructional resources like WebQuests. By directing your students to these pages, you may be sure they will find reliable information sources, and make good use of their research time.

The "hot topics" are selected based on their importance in the North Carolina curriculum for grade 4 and the availability of high-quality, grade-appropriate, relevant websites. Suggestions for new hot topics or websites are welcome; please send suggestions to Melissa Thibault, Director of Media Services.
